THIRD PARTY MODULE CREATION GUIDE

Please read this entire page to understand the possibilities and restrictions of the Sickest Witch open license. Severed Books is always interested in collaborating with other creators. If you do wish to license Sickest Witch, or if you have any other questions, please email Justin at SeveredBooks@gmail.com

Sickest Witch should be a grounded and relatable folk-horror game. It takes inspiration from movies like The VVitch, Hereditary, and The Green Knight, as well as comic books like Hellboy and Somna. This is a paranoid and dirty world where Witches are reclaiming their bodies and minds from the clutches of a few powerful oligarchs.

In a way, this system is a metaphor. In most modern societies, bodies are treated as commodities. You are forced to use your body for labor. Your attention is commodified through advertising and social media ad revenue. Sickest Witch is about reclaiming bodies back from their oppressors.

No Witch should ever become wealthy or too powerful. They find fulfillment in community and aiding strangers. The harder you punch down, the higher you rise up.

What You Can’t Do
